Houston Junk Removal: It's Junk vs Do It Yourself

So you have junk that you need to get rid of.  You really have two options; 1) Call It's Junk since we guarantee that we have the lowest prices of all our major competitors or 2) Do it yourself.  Most people don't realize the hassles, risks and costs of doing it yourself so let's take a closer look.

Doing it yourself requires the following:

1) Two strong men who are physically in great shape.  Loading and unloading heavy junk can be very physically demanding.   If your loaders aren't in great shape, they risk serious personal injury such as back injuries, etc.  Whether you are using friends or laborers, you will need to organize that help yourself and work it into their busy schedules.

2) A truck and trailer (or dumpster) to carry your junk to the dump.  Renting such a combo is not cheap PLUS you will need to purchase insurance AND you will need to know how to pull a trailer or you will need to hire a driver at additional costs.

3) Hauling your junk to a local dump.  First, you need to find a dump that will accept your junk. They will charge a fee that is dependent upon the number of cubic yards in your load.  The more junk you have, the greater the dump fee.

When it's all said and done, doing it yourself will cost anywhere from $300 to $400 not to mention the blood, sweat and tears required to physically move the junk.

It's Junk's prices start at just $98 for a minimum load and run up to $429 for a full load.  With less than a full load, doing it yourself is probably MORE expensive that hiring It's Junk!  With a full load, maybe you save $50.  Is it really worth it for all that hassle and risk involved in doing it yourself?

We think the answer is clear.  Let It's Junk do all the work and do it at your convenience.  Give us a call today at 281-ITS-JUNK and let us save you the back breaking experience of hauling off your own junk!
