We at It's Junk have proudly hauled off a lot of junk for people allowing them to reclaim their garage, backyard, patio, closet or even a room in their house.  Often people discard items that still are functionable and useable in order to upgade them to newer or higher quality items.  Examples are refrigerators, washers, dryers, sofas, chairs, beds, clothes, sporting goods, toys, etc. 

We are proud to say that we recycle these types of items by taking them directly to Goodwill.  They gladly take these used items, clean them up and sell them at a fraction of their origional cost to people who wouldn't be able to afford them in new condition.  Therefore, Goodwill benefits by raising money and people looking for bargins benefit by making a great buy on something they need.

That in itself seems like enough reason to call It's Junk to haul off your junk.  BUT THERE'S MORE!  If we feel that some of your items are still useable and we take them to Goodwill, we will mail you the tax receipt so that YOU (not us) can claim the deduction for your donation on your income tax!
